The remixes are all of previously released tracks from Fingernail’s debut CD/LP, ‘So, Backwards.’ ‘So, Backwards,’ released earlier this year on Fuzzy Box, is serene and sinister with subtle humor, moodswings, and programming comparable to Aphex Twin or Autechre, while the complexity of the in-depth melodies parallels early classical composer, Maurice Ravel.
